60g sago
80g sugar
40g custard powder
1 egg
480g water
40g butter
25g milk
80g soaked bird's nest
some icing sugar

Directions for Baked Sago Pudding with Bird's Nest
|
1. Soak sago in water for 2 hours. Drain. 2. Mix sugar and custard powder with water. Add egg to mixture. Stir well. 3. Melt butter with water. Add in sago, cook well and pour into custard powder mixture. Stir quickly. Add in milk and bird's nest; stir well. 4. Pour sago mixture into baking pot; dust with icing sugar. Bake over water at 170°C for 20 minutes until light golden brown. Serve.
