Shanghai Sesame Sweet Dumplings
1. Rinse pork fat; mince finely. Add sugar and sesame icing sugar; knead into small balls. Chill until firm. 2. Sift glutinous rice powder and finest-rice flour into big bowl. Add in enough water and rub into dough; rub into long roll and divide into 30 small portions. 3. Knead a deep dent in small dough; wrap in fillings. Cover up the dent and knead into balls. 4. Heat half pot of water, put in flour balls when it boils. Add 1 measuring cup of water, boil again until flour balls float. Take out and serve. |
