Black Soya Bean Curd Dessert
1. Soak soya bean in water for 6 hours; rinse and drain (do not peel) 2. Pulp soya bean with 7½ measuring cups of water in blender respectively. Filter out soya bean pulp by using gauze to remove residue. Boil soya bean pulp in large pot over low heat until 3 inches (7.5cm) thick foam has risen above the surface. Skim off foam. 3. Mix gypsum powder with ½ cup of water well and remove impurities. Stir well and set aside. 4. Pour boiling hot soya bean pulp into gypsum powder mixture; mix well, cover with towel and place lid over it. Rest 20 minutes (it will then become sweet soya bean curd). 5. Heat syrup ingredients until melted. Serve with sweet soya bean curd. |
