Beef with Green Pepper and Black Bean Sauce

Description: Black bean sauce is a very popular condiment in Chinese cuisine. In case you have never come across with it, it is actually made from fermented black soybeans. It is strong, exotic with salty taste. It adds texture and richness to the dishes. Combined with tender beef fillets and green paper, it is a delicious, full flavoured dish for all beef lovers.

Ingredients for Beef with Green Pepper and Black Bean Sauce

 300g beef fillet

 3 green peppers

 2 tsp of dried garlic flakes

 few slices of ginger

 salted black bean and ginger

Seasonings

 1 tsp of salt

 ½ tsp cooking soda

 1 tsp light soy sauce

 1 tsp vegetable oil

 1 tsp cornstarch

Sauces

 1 tsp salt

 1 tsp sesame oil

 2 tsp cornstarch

 ½ cup of water


Directions for Beef with Green Pepper and Black Bean Sauce

1. Slice beef into thin pieces and mix with seasonings. Marinate for 30 minutes.

2. Heat oil in wok, stir- fry ginger and garlic; mix with the sliced beef, shallow fry until the surface of the beef turn golden, save for later use.

3. Heat oil in wok, stir fry green pepper with Gold Plum black bean, mix the beef and sauce together, wait until boils.
